About

Alireza Haji Heidari is a PhD student in the Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration (CSDILA), Department of Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on leveraging cutting-edge algorithms and techniques to develop a spatiotemporal predictive model for flood monitoring with real-time data.

He has a background in Geomatics and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and earned his master’s degree from the University of Tehran, Iran. He has contributed to designing and developing some 3D location-based software for the industry. His academic and technical background has provided him with a deep understanding of spatial data analysis, spatial modelling leveraging artificial intelligence methods, and spatial visualization.
