INDUSTRY PROBLEM

Given the historical and operational importance of rail transport, effective management and monitoring strategies are essential in addressing the challenges posed by aging infrastructure and related structural issues. Australian operators recognise the need for an advanced monitoring system through Digital Twin to detect defects in bridges, especially given the difficulty of visual inspection for instance the plastic paint coverage for the components, which hid the potential defects and damages from a visual inspection.
