INDUSTRY PROBLEM

Reservoir characterisation is one of the most elaborate and expensive elements in a reservoir development. It involves extensive borings, exhaustive manual examination of borehole logs, and numerous imprecise testing on disturbed and undisturbed samples. This research aims to alleviate this difficulty by providing low-cost, cutting edge technology for real-time in situ characterisation of subsurface utilising downhole optical, acoustic and electrical imaging, artificial intelligence and edge computing.
