About

Youheng Guo is currently a second year PhD student at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney). He has the background of structural engineering and survey experience. Youheng’s research interests lie in data-driven infrastructure inspection. He has research experiences in Machine Learning for crack quantification, close-range 3D reconstruction enabled by photogrammetry, and LiDAR. Youheng completed building information modeling for Prince of Wales Hospital precinct during master thesis. He also participated in the 3D reconstruction of historic bridges and cooling towers cooperating with Linke and Linke Surveys.
