Investigating the behavior factor of timber structures

About

Kosar is a Ph.D. candidate in UNSW’s Civil and Environmental Engineering department, guided by Prof. Hamid Valipour. She earned her master’s degree in earthquake engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, in 2021. In addition to her academic achievements, she has two years experience in the industry, where she actively contributed to the design of numerous steel and concrete structures. She is currently delving into the seismic behavior of newly introduced CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) structures, seeking to enhance our understanding in a field where design information is still limited.
