Basin Evolution and Resource Potential of the South Nicholson Region.
Hari is a PhD candidate in Petroleum Geology and possesses a rich academic and professional background, from earning a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, to excelling as an Instrumentation Manager in a refinery. After completing his Master’s in Petroleum Engineering from UNSW, Hari embarked on a PhD journey to advance our understanding of the subsurface geology of the least explored region in the Northern Territory. His research interests now encompass geology, basin analysis, petroleum systems modelling, and the application of machine learning in geosciences. Beyond his academic pursuits, Hari is actively involved in the geoscience community as the Secretary of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG), NSW branch, demonstrating a commitment to innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the continuous improvement of professional skills in the geoscience domain.
