Thesis Topic

Stochastic Degradation Modelling and Maintenance Optimisation for LED-based Lighting Systems of Commercial Buildings

About

Haohao Shi is currently a PhD student at the School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He has a background in reliability and maintenance optimization, especially opportunistic maintenance of assets. Haohao’s research interests lie in reliability modelling, degradation analysis, preventive maintenance and opportunistic maintenance.

Currently, he is working on LED-based lighting systems degradation simulation and the development of maintenance plans for LED-based lighting systems of commercial buildings. He collaborates with the industry partner: Fredon.
