Rabindra Lamsal is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the GRID Lab, UNSW, contributing to the Resilient and Intelligent Infrastructure Systems (RIIS) ARC ITRH project in collaboration with FrontierSI with project lead Chief Investigator Professor Sisi Zlatanova.  

RIIS Project – Geospatial Intelligence to support machine-human native conversation

He earned his PhD from the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, specialising in large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP). His current research focuses on developing state-of-the-art systems that provide easy, natural-language interaction between humans and data. This includes designing intelligent chatbots capable of conversing with complex 3D data such as BIM IFC and CityGML.
