With a strong technical background in civil and structural engineering, specialised in Bridges, she leads high-impact, cross-disciplinary projects that bridge research, government, and industry. Her expertise focuses on advancing Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Digital Twin technologies to enable intelligent, real-time infrastructure management. Dr Nasim is widely recognised for her leadership in nationally significant research initiatives and industry-driven collaborations, particularly in the bridge and transport sectors. She spearheads projects that integrate real-time data, predictive analytics, and lifecycle optimisation to improve infrastructure safety, resilience, and sustainability.
