Joshua Devitt is a regionally based civil engineer who has worked in the public works sector for close to 20 years. Over this time, he has worked with Council’s across NSW in urban, regional and rural settings. Joshua also has more than 6 years’ experience in the Australian higher education sector, most recently as the course director of engineering at Charles Sturt University. As the Chief Engineer at IPWEA NSW & ACT, Joshua is responsible for advocacy to state and federal governments, providing technical guidance to members, and for undertaking research to advance the public works profession.
