Investigating the Mechanical Properties of Stone Mastic Asphalt Mixtures Containing Crumb Rubber.
About
Mahdi Zakerzadeh, an industrial PhD researcher, currently pursues his doctoral studies within the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New South Wales. Under the supervision of Professor Nasser Khalili, he is conducting an extensive research study on the mechanical behaviour of asphalt pavement containing waste tyre rubber, moving toward sustainable construction.
Mahdi earned his MSc in Highway and Transportation Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) in 2017. He then pursued his academic path as a research assistant at the Research Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (RINAM) and New Technology in Civil Engineering Research group (NTCER) at IUT. His diverse educational background has provided him with a deep understanding of pavement materials, the application of waste materials in civil construction, and sustainable construction practices.
